CC Skye presented her new Spring-Summer 2011 collection on July 24th in a large estate in Malibu overlooking the Ocean on the evening of a full moon. LA local press, stylists, and celebrity clients were there. The beautiful LA crowd mingled into the late evening. Giveaways included Malibu Barbie make up cans, CC Skye cookies adorned with campaign photos, and gift boxes filled with CC Skye jewlery including the Pave Flash Pendant, CC Skye signature screw bracelets, Pave Flash ring, Nika Cuff, Long Claw Necklace, all retailing over 1000$.

A blue crescent, a polka dot mountain on a warm sandy dessert was the view from my window. But one day I was sent into the forest to find some fire from Babayaga. I passed through an intoxicating rose maze. By the guidance of the rose dove I found the right path.

I arrived in a garden full of glorious sunny memories. The wind whispered 'remember that memories may be rose tinted, the brutal truth is left behind!'. It stirred a deep emotional turmoil... How far did I have to go to get the fire? My heart sank...But I know I was the protected one. My skeleton friend is always with me, the goat queen of the forest is on my side. And I am grateful that I am the best friend of myself.

Gorgeous Prints recollecting Illustrations from Fairy Tales - Doii Lee opened her collection Summer 2010 with a romantic theme entitled, “Butterflies flying to the jungle”. The designer, inspired by Japanese fairy tale, "Butterfly Girl," applied vibrant printed cottons and shiny sequins appealing bright and optimistic mood. The collection featured exotic color palettes recollecting of animals and plants from Brazilian jungles while transparent sequins were applied over graphic prints creating fantastic visuals. The eye catchers were metallic leggings, trench coats with cropped sleeves, kimono-sleeve dresses, practical-sized bag collection and evening dress featuring sea-referenced shells and pearl details. In addition, cute bow details were added almost everywhere appealing girlish features as well while shoes with neon trims and bead details were very attractive. A gorgeous and feminine collection as if watching an illustration of fairy tale.

During my last trip in Paris, I discovered the most wonderful brand...this time for babies, mums, and dads. Actually, I knew about it but never saw anything of them in real life...indeed it met all my expectations. Italian-made and designed by Monica Rusconi, Album di Famiglia is an inimitably elegant designer baby clothes line (with a new line for mums and dads). These modern and luxury baby clothes come in understated colors, soft natural high quality fabrics, classic and simple cuts. Surely the brand is way ahead of anyone else.

Durante mi última visita a Paris, descubrí el brand más bonito...esta vez es una marca para bebes, mamás, y papás. La verdad es que sabía de esta marca, pero nunca antes había visto algo en vida real...y no me decepcionó! Italian-made y diseñada por Monica Rusconi, Album di Famiglia es una linea de bebes muy elegante (con una nueva linea para mamás y papás). Esta lujosa y moderna linea viene en colores muy suaves, en tejidos naturales y de alta calidad, con un corte clasico y sencillo. Seguramente esta marca es única!

Desde la próxima temporada, Fashion Net World estará representando la marca en Chipre.

While my visit in Paris, I met the Korean designer Doii Lee. The truth is that I got really impressed with her designs...they immediately cought my attention...so original and so fresh! She is using a unique method by combining transparent sequins together with other beautiful and fun fabrics. The result is amazing; the garments are very feminine and glamorous.

After finishing her studies in Central St. Martins College, Doii Lee worked for Christian Dior and then for Kenzo. At the moment, she is presenting her collections during Paris Fashion Week and Seoul Fashion Week. Her line, Doii Paris, is sold in many countries around the world with a very strong presence in Middle East. You can read more about Doii at the section of Biographies.

From next season onwards, Fashion Net World will be representing Doii Paris in Cyprus.

Durante mi visita a Paris, conocí la diseñadora Koreana Doii Lee. La verdad es que me quedé impresionada con sus diseños...me llamaron la atención inmediatamente...¡tan originales y tan frescos!. Está utilizando una metodo única combinando lentejuelas transparentes junto a otros tejidos divertidos. El resultado es increible; prendas muy femeninas y glamurosas.

Después de terminar sus estudios en Central St. Martins College, Doii Lee trabajó para Christian Dior, y después con Kenzo. De momento, está presentando sus colecciones durante la semana de la moda de Paris y de Seoul. Su linea, Doii Paris, se vende en muchos paises con una presencia muy fuerte en Middle East. One of the nicest collections presented during the last edition of Cibeles. Ailanto, inspired by 'The Happy Prince' of Oscar Wilde as well as the Slavic Princesses, presented a very elegant collection where the military look as well as the navy look are contrasting with materials such as silk chiffon and cotton voile. The amazing prints of Ailanto are also present, some reminding figures from 'The Happy Prince'.

Una de las colecciones más bonitas presentada durante la última edición de Cibeles. Ailanto, inspirado de 'El principe felíz' de Oscar Wilde y las Princesas Eslavas, ha presentado una colección muy elegante donde el look militar y el look marinero contrastan con chiffon de seda y voile de algodón. A visit to the showroom of Josep Font in Barcelona is always a pleasure. I was indeed very impressed for next season's collection. I really had difficulty in deciding what to order for me. Some pieces in fucsia silk were really impressive. I got myself a bolero. This year Josep Font was inspired by the Haute Couture collection. Therefore, some pieces are worth having in the wordrobe...real masterpieces. I also had a look at the 'book' they are preparing for each shop of Josep Font. Each one will be different from the other. It is like a diary written by a fairy queen...romantic and magical (see photo).

Una visita al showroom the Josep Font en Barcelona siempre es placentera. Estaba muy impresionada de la colección de la proxima temporada. Realmente tenía dificultad en decidir que pedir para mi. Unas piezas en seda fucsia eran muy impresionantes. Me he quedado con un bolero. Este año, Josep Font se ha inspirado de su colección de la Alta Costura. Algunas piezas se tienen que tener en la guardaropa...son piezas de arte. También he visto al 'book' que están preparando para cada tienda de Josep Font. Cada uno será diferente del otro. Es como un diario escrito por una ada...romantico y magico (ver foto).

A stage full of colour, flowers, stripes, and brushstrokes of Matisse. Ailanto proposes a collection of a renewed hippy, but above all very urban, intellectual, and femenine. The star of the collection as always the dress of Ailanto, made of silk and cotton, with the classic stripes. I especially liked the last dress in black and white that the model Marina Perez was wearing. A summer's dream! Detail: The wallpaper of the stage was found in an old factory of wallpapers. It gave a very special touch to the whole thing.

Un escenario lleno de color, flores, rayas y pinceladas de Matisse. Ailanto propone una colección de un hippismo renovado, pero sobre todo muy urbano, intelectual y femenino. Prenda estrella es como siempre el vestido de Ailanto, hecho de algodon y seda, con sus clasicas rayas. Especialmente bonito es el último vestido en blanco y negro que llevaba Marina Perez. ¡Un sueño de verano! Detalle: El papel pintado se encontró en una fabrica antigua de papeles pintados. Ha dado un toque muy especial en todo el escenario.

Miriam Ocáriz is back with a new collection for a new age group. Her very first work was for children and she has now returned to kidswear with her first collection for girls aged 0 to 12 under her own brand. I had the chance to see the collection in Pitti Bimbo, in Florence. Her original funny prints, the sixties dresses, and the geometric jackets, form part of a really beautiful collection.

Mums will be able to dress their little girls almost the same way as them. You only have to wait until February 2009 when the collection will be out on sale.

Miriam Ocariz ha vuelto con una nueva coleccion dirigida a un grupo nuevo. Sus primeros trabajos fueron de confección infantil, y ahora regresa al diseño de moda para niños con una primera colección para niñas de 0 a 12 años bajo lsu propia marca. Tuve la oportunidad de ver a la coleccion en Pitti Bimbo en Florencia. Sus originales y divertidos estampados, los vestidos con un aire de los años sesenta, y las chaquetas geometricas, forman parte de una coleccion realmente bella.

Las mamas podran vestir a sus niñas casi igual a ellas. Lo único es que teneis que esperar hasta el Febrero de 2009, cuando la coleccion salga a la venta.

There are no words to describe it. It is simply amazing. Especially if one thinks how many hours of artesan work is employed on each dress. Well done to Josep Font and his team!

Josep Font pertenece a estos diseñadores que cada vez que presentan una nueva colección, hacen historia. Una vez más, presentó una colección divina durante la semana de Alta Costura en Paris. No hay palabras para describirla. Es simplemente preciosa. With this amazing Spring-Summer collection inspired by the film of Antonioni ‘Blow-up’, and especially by the glamorous and mythical model Veruschka, Ailanto travels us back to the 60s. Veruschka, muse of Ailanto for this collection, accepted the invitation and she did not miss the fashion show. When I went to see this collection at the showroom of Ailanto in Barcelona, Aitor (one of the brothers that form Ailanto) told me that they were very happy to have Veruschka at their fashion show, and that she is a very nice lady, very elegant, and still has an amazing figure. Being almost seventy years old, this German countess was the top model of her time, an actress, and an artist.

Fashion Note: Must accessory of this collection is the long black scarf worn as a tie or as a belt. The long dresses are also amazingly beautiful.

Con esta increíble colección de Primavera-Verano inspirada en la película ‘Blow-up’ y especialmente en la modelo glamorosa Veruschka, Ailanto nos viaja a la época de los años sesenta. Veruschka, musa de Ailanto para esta colección, aceptó la invitación y no quiso perder el desfile. Cuando fui al showroom de Ailanto en Barcelona para ver esta colección, el mismo Aitor me comento que estaban encantados de tener a Veruschka a su desfile, y que ella es una gran señora, muy elegante, y todavía con un gran tipo. A sus casi setenta años, esta condesa Alemana, fue la top modelo de su época, actriz, y artista.

Nota fashion: Accesorio must de esta colección es el pañuelo negro, puesto como una corbata o como un cinturón. Los vestidos largos son realmente preciosos.

The real Gabriela of Josep Font

Finally I have finished with all the orders…I am very happy as all of the designers I am working with have presented very interesting proposals for next year. The last designer I met was Josep Font. If you remember, I saw the collection in Paris. However, I wanted to see some last things, so I went to see again the collection in his showroom in Barcelona. In the photos you can also see Gabriela, the mascot of the company (the name of Josep Font's company is Gabriela). She was there with us the whole time. It is amazing how she is observing and noticing everything…she is a real expert!

Finalmente he terminado con todos mis pedidos. Estoy muy contenta, porque todos los diseñadores que trabajo, han presentado unas propuestas muy interesantes para la temporada que viene. El último diseñador que fui a ver era Josep Font. Si os acordáis, había visto la colección en Paris. Sin embargo, quería ver unas últimas cosas así que fui a ver la colección de nuevo. En las fotos podéis ver a Gabriela, la mascota de la empresa (la empresa de Josep Font se llama Gabriela). Estaba con nosotros todo el tiempo. Es increíble como lo observa y nota todo…¿es una verdadera experta!

Ailanto: Back to the good old times

Yesterday I went to the beautiful showroom of Ailanto in Barcelona in order to see their new collection and make an order for next season. Their showroom is situated in one of the modernist buildings of the Eixample in Barcelona. The building is beautiful, and the showroom has an amazing view overlooking the Coliseum theatre.

As I could not go to Madrid for the fashion show, I had only seen photos of the collection. Of course everything looked much nicer in real life than in the photos. The quality of the materials together with the colours chosen and used, result in a really beautiful collection. As I was placing the order with Aitor, one of the Ailanto duo, he told me that the inspiration for this collection comes from the 70s and beginning of the 80s in New York. It is indeed a collection that has a retro air and reminds movies such as ‘Charlie’s Angels’, 'Eyes of Laura Mars', and 'La Nuit Américaine'. Some of the pieces also remind of the English/Scottish countryside style, which is a style that I love.

Must-haves of this collection are the shirts with wide sleeves, the bermudas slightly opened at the side, the mini capes, and the high waist trousers. For the night, the designers have created some pieces using flower printed fabrics that they themselves designed, as well as pieces made with a quilted silk material.

It is really a collection with classic pieces we always had at a moment of our lives, with a lot of quality and with a lot of style. Congratulations to Aitor and Iñaki for this fabulous collection.

Ayer fui al precioso showroom de los hermanos Ailanto para ver su nueva colección y hacer un pedido para la próxima temporada. Su showroom esta en un edificio modernista en el Eixample de Barcelona. Es un edificio muy bonito y el showroom tiene unas vistas preciosas al teatro Coliseum.

Como no pude ir a Madrid para el desfile, solo había visto fotos de la colección. Claramente todo es mucho más bonito en vivo que en las fotos. La calidad de los tejidos junto con los colores que se han escogido y utilizado, ha resultado en una colección verdaderamente preciosa. Como el pedido lo estaba haciendo con Aitor, uno de los hermanos Ailanto, me comentó que para esta colección se han inspirado en Nueva York de los años 70 y principios de los 80. Efectivamente es una colección con un aire retro, que recuerda películas como ‘Los Ángeles de Charlie’, 'Los ojos de Laura Mars' y 'La Nuit Américaine'. Algunas prendas me han recordado el estilo Ingles/Escocés de campo, que es un estilo que me encanta.

Prendas estrella de esta colección son las camisas con mangas amplias, las bermudas anchas abiertas por los laterales, las mini capas y los pantalones de cintura alta. Para la noche, los diseñadores han hecho unas prendas con estampados de flores de diseño propio, como también unas prendas de un tejido de seda acolchonada.

Realmente es una colección con prendas clásicas de toda la vida, muy calida y con muchísimo estilo. Felicidades a Aitor y a Iñaki por esta colección tan fabulosa.

Two days in Paris

Hi everybody! I have just come back from Paris. I went there for the Fashion Week. Paris is beautiful, unique in the whole world. These days the city was full of people related to the Fashion World. Apart from the fashion shows, there were lots of exhibitions in various places around Paris. I met there with two friends of mine, as we had to make our orders for next season. Paris is pure magic!

The first day we had an appointment at the beautiful shop of Josep Font which is situated in the Rue de la Surdiere, just off Rue Saint Honoré. We had a look at the collections. Both the first line ‘Josep Font’ as well as the second one ‘La 2’ are really amazing. In the second line you can find jerseys in violet and in red wine colour. There are some amazing pieces in blue petrol, made with a material that looks like leather. A collection that is perfect for everyday! For his first line, Font used colours like lila, green, blue, and red. The exception is a yellow trench. Beautiful piece! A variety of materials was used, combining one with another. The shoes are elegant as always. A collection just for a princess…A real luxury!

¡Hola a todos y a todas! Acabo de regresar de mi viaje a Paris. Fui alli para la semana de la moda. La verdad es que Paris es precioso, único en el mundo. Estos días se llena de gente relacionada con el mundo de la moda. Aparte de los desfiles, hay exposiciones en muchos lugares de Paris. Había quedado allí con dos amigas mías para hacer los pedidos de la próxima temporada. ¡Paris es pura magia!

El primer día teníamos cita en la tienda de Josep Font que esta en Rue de la Suerdiere. Tanto la primera línea ‘Josep Font’ como la segunda ‘La 2’ son preciosas. En la segunda línea se han hecho jerséis de punto en colores como el violeta y el vino tinto. Hay unas piezas preciosas en azul petrol, y hechas con un tejido que da la sensación de ser piel. ¡Perfecta para cada día! Para la primera línea, Font ha utilizado colores como el lila, el verde, el azul, y el rojo. La excepción es una gabardina en color amarillo ¡Preciosa! Los tejidos son variados y combinados entre si. Los zapatos son elegantes como siempre. Una colección propia de una princesa…¡un verdadero lujo!

When we finished with our orders was already 21:30. We walked to Hotel Costes as it was very near the shop. We had a drink at the bar and then we continued with dinner. As always the place was full of people, and as always the atmospere and the food were superb. We really had a lovely evening.

Ya eran las 21:30 cuando terminamos con nuestros pedidos. Caminamos hacia el Hotel Costes ya que está muy cerca de la tienda. Tomamos algo al bar y después continuamos con la cena. Como siempre el sitio estaba lleno de gente, y como siempre el ambiente y la comida era super. Habiamos pasado una noche magnifica.

The second day we went to Tranoi, one of the fashion exhibitions in the city. There we could see the collection of Miriam Ocariz. I had already seen the collection, but not the girls. They really liked it. Especially the line that has a military style. There is a coat and some jackets that are really amazing. The long dresses are also exceptional. Miriam is creating collections that are adapted to the life of the woman of today, without removing any sign of feminity whatsoever. Bravo!

El segundo día fuimos a Tranoi, una de las ferias de la ciudad. Allí exponía su colección Miriam Ocariz. Yo ya había visto la colección en Barcelona, pero las chicas no. Les ha gustado muchísimo. Especialmente la línea en estilo militar. Hay unos abrigos y unas americanas preciosas. Los vestidos largos también son excepcionales. Miriam hace colecciones adaptadas a la vida de la mujer de hoy, sin quitarles ni un trozo de feminidad. La calidad de sus tejidos es de primera, y el talento que tiene a la hora de hacer sus famosas serigrafías no tiene límites. ¡Bravo! .

We also had a little bit of time to go shopping in Avenue Montaigne, and eat at Avenue, one of my favourite places for lunch in the city. Apart from the fact that the Director of the Loewe shop in Paris is a friend, I have to say that it is the collection I mostly liked in a shop. I felt in love with the new colours of the Amazona bag. I especially liked the black with details in electric blue. There is an orange 'aire' bag that I liked. But the cutest of all the things in the shop were some wallets in the shape of the Amazona bag. They produced them especially for the 160 anniversary of the brand and they can be used as a mini bag. They exist in various colours, and are a must for this season and for ever. I will surely get one for me. Men's collection is also very elegant, as it has always been. I love the red/orange trousers combined with the blue blazer. Classic! The dresses were also beautiful mainly in white, beige, blue, and black colours. Nice bronze silk kaftants. I attach some photos from the catalogue so you can judge yourselves. I really liked the photos of Geraldine Chaplin in the catalogue. An extra touch of luxury!

También hemos tenido algo de tiempo para ir de compras en Avenue Montaigne, y comer al Avenue, uno de mis restaurantes favoritos para mediodía en la ciudad. Aparte del hecho que el Director de Loewe de la tienda en Paris es un amigo, debo decir que es la coleccion que mas me gustó en una tienda Me he enamorado de los bolsos Amazonas que han sacado en varios colores, especialmente uno en negro con azul eléctrico. También me ha gustado el bolso 'aire' en color naranja. Pero los mas ‘cute’ de la tienda, eran unos monederos con forma del bolso amazona. Los han sacado para el 160 aniversario, y existen en varios colores. Se puede utilizar como mini bolso. Es un must have para esta temporada y para siempre. Seguramente me quedare con uno. La colección de hombre es muy elegante como siempre. Me encanta el pantalon rojo/naranja combinado con la americana azul. ¡Todo un clasico! Los vestidos también son una maravilla. La mayoria en color blanco, beige, azul, y negro. Kaftanes de seda en color bronce. Adjunto unas fotos del catalogo, asi podeis judgar vosotros/as mismos/as. Me han gustado muchisimo las photos con Geraldine Chaplin.¡Un extra toque de lujo!

The truth is that I was not interested in the rest of the shops around. The majority of the things they sell will be bought by half of the world. I really feel sorry we did not have the time to discover little treasures in these amazing shops Paris has. The shops in Avenue Montaigne are great, but not all of them offer luxury items…they offer mass luxury. It is just a matter of having the money. Luxury today is the brands and designers that only the best few know and appreciate. Not everybody knows where to find the best artisan that makes hand-made and made to measure leather boots. Or discover the studio that makes the best hats. These are the shops I like to discover. The best kept secrets of the cities…revealed only by the best..

La verdad es que las otras tiendas por allí no me interesan demasiado ya que la mayoría de las cosas que venden, serán compradas por medio mundo. Lastima que no hemos tenido el tiempo para descubrir pequeños tesoros en estas tiendas magnificas de Paris. Las tiendas de Avenue Montaigne son preciosas, pero no todas venden lujo sino lujo de masas. Es simplemente cuestión de dinero. Lujo hoy en día, son las marcas y los diseñadores que solo los pocos y los mejores conocen y aprecian. No todos conocen donde encontrar el mejor artesano que hace cosas hechas a mano y a medida. O donde encontrar el taller que hace los mejores sobreros. Estos son los sitios que me gusta descubrir. Los secretos mejor guardados de la ciudad…desvelados solo de los mejores.

Miriam Ocariz and Ailanto

Finally the two fashion shows I was expecting. The one of Miriam Ocariz and the one of Ailanto. Two completely different concepts and inspirations. Miriam insprired by the world of fencing, and Ailanto by the 70s.

Por fin los dos desfiles que estaba esperando. El de Miriam Ocariz y el de Ailanto. Dos conceptos y dos inspiraciones completamente diferentes. Miriam se inspira en el mundo de la esgrima, y los hermanos Ailanto en los años 70.

As I have already mention, I saw the collection of Miriam Ocariz something like two weeks ago. Therefore, I knew what to expect, although everything looks very different at the fashion show. The styling is very important, as well as how the different accessories are used and combined. I found the shoes really really special. Especially the pink ones combined with this amazing green coat. I also like how the dark brown belts are combined with the clothes. Very elegant! I am attaching some photos of the clothes and looks I mostly like. I believe is a very elegant and feminine collecion. Don't you think so?

Como ya he mencionado, la colección the Miriam Ocariz la habia visto hace unas dos semanas. Entonces, ya sabía que esperar, aunque en el desfile todo parece en otra manera. El estilismo es importante, como tambien los accesorios. He encontrado los zapatos muy muy especiales. Especialmente los de color rosa combinados con este precioso abrigo verde. Tambien me gusta como se han combinado los cinturones en marrón oscuro. Adjunto unas fotos de las prendas y de los looks que mas me gustan. Creo que es una colección muy elegante y muy femenina. ¿Que os parece?

What about Ailanto? I loved the collection of Ailanto! The two brothers presented a collection inspired by the 70s. Flowers and stripes, over sized scarves, many versions of trousers, and scotish capes. I especially liked the blouses that had sleeves with a lot of volume (something that I always adore), and four of the dresses. Do not miss the maxi bags...

¿Y Ailanto? La coleccion de Ailanto me gustó muchisimo. Los dos hermanos han presentado una coleccion inspirada en los años setenta. Flores y rayas, bufantas extra grandes, variadas versiones de pantalones, y capas escocesas. Especialmente me han gustado las blusas con las mangas con volumen (que es algo que siempre adoro), y cuatro de los vestidos. No os perdais los maxi bolsos...

Madrid Fashion Week

After New York Fashion Week, the Pasarela Cibeles of Madrid has its turn. I am really looking forward to seeing the looks Spanish designers are going to propose. I am especially looking forward to the Fashion Show of Miriam Ocariz, as I have already seen the collection, as well as to the fashion show of Ailanto. I love their dresses!
Despues de la semana de la moda de Nueva York, ahora es el turno de la Pasarela Cibeles de Madrid. No veo la hora de poder ver los looks que los diseñadores Españoles van a proponer. Estoy especialmente esperando el desfile de Miriam Ocariz, ya que he visto la colección, y al desfile de Ailanto.¡Me encantan sus vestidos!

The new collection of Miriam Ocariz

Some days ago, I had the chance to see the new collection for autumn-winter 2008 of Miriam Ocariz. The collection is really great, I just loved it! As always she made a very feminine and very correct collection, with a very detailed and perfect finishing. Geometry and structure are intermingling in black and white coats, military style coats and jackets, and wonderful mohair dresses. I could not resist ordering for me a beautiful grey suit, and one of those military coats in dark blue. Miriam Ocariz will present this collection in the next edition of Pasarela Cibeles in Madrid. The fashion week takes place from the 11th until the 15th February. The fashion show of Miriam is on the 12th February, at 18:00. Unfortunately, we will have to wait until then to have photos of the collection.

Hace algunos días, tenía la ocasión de ver la nueva colección para el otoño-invierno 2008 de Miriam Ocariz. La colección es realmente preciosa, me encanto! Como siempre ella hizo una colección muy femenina y muy correcta, con un acabamiento muy detallado y perfecto. La geometría y la estructura se están mezclando en abrigos en blanco y negro, capas y chaquetas de estilo militar, y vestidos maravillosos del moer. No podría resistir en pedir para mí de un hermoso traje gris, y uno de esos abrigos militares en azul marino. Miriam Ocariz presentará esta colección en la proxima edición de Pasarela Cibeles en Madrid. La Pasarela es del 11 al 15 de febrero. El desfile de Miriam es el 12 de febrero, a las 18:00. Desafortunadamente, tendremos que esperar hasta entonces para tener fotos de la colección.

Hi everybody! Today am very happy because I am starting my new blog. I decided that my first article will be on one of the designers I mostly like, Josep Font. Especially now that he is making the big step and he is news. Hope you like my blog, and you like my article.

On the 24th January, I attended the fashion show of the Spanish designer Josep Font. He presented his Spring-Summer 2008 collection during Paris Haute Couture Week, thus beginning a new era in his history of fashion. As always Font made a collection full of feminine elegance, amazing colours, and rich materials. The designer said that his dream of participating in haute couture week came true. For this collection Josep Font collaborated with Swarovski Elements, where they created crystals especially for this collection. The hair stylist Marcel Montlleó was responsible for the amazing hairdos. The show was accompanied by a singer, two violinists and a cello.

The designer made début in Paris in February 2006 with a spectacular show in the mythical Moulin Rouge, and he then continued for three seasons in the week of the Parisian Prêt-à-Porter with a notable success. In this occasion, Josep Font returned to the capital of fashion after the invitation of the Fédération Française of the Couture to present his haute couture collection. Josep Font is the only Spanish designer participating in the parisien haute couture week, following the big Spanish maestros who already form a part in the history of fashion, such as Christobal Balenciaga, Manuel Pertegaz, and Paco Rabanne.

I am honestly very happy for Josep Font. I started collaborating with him 5 years ago when I was looking to work with Spanish designers. At that time not many people were betting for the Spanish fashion. I believed in him and indeed I was not wrong...today I am very proud to say that I witnessed some of the most important events of his carreer, like for example his first fashion show in Paris, and the opening of his Parisien shop.

Hola a todos y a todas! Hoy estoy muy contenta porque estoy empezando mi nuevo blog. He decidido empezar con el diseñador que mas me gusta,Josep Font. Especialmente ahora que esta dando el gran salto, y que es gran noticia. Espero que os guste mi blog y que os guste el articulo.

El 24 de enero, atendí el desfile del diseñador español Josep Font. Él presentó su colección de Primavera-Verano 2008 durante la semana de la alta costura de París, así comenzando una nueva era en su historia de la moda. Como siempre Font hizo una colección llena de elegancia femenina, de colores asombrosos, y de materiales ricos. El diseñador dijo que su sueño se hizo realidad de participar en la semana de la alta costura. Para esta colección Josep Font colaboró con Swarovski Elements, donde crearon cristales especialmente para esta colección. El responsable para estos peinados increibles, era el estilista Marcel Montlleó.El desfile fue acompañado por una cantante, dos violinistas y un violoncelo. El diseñador hizo su début en París en febrero de 2006 con un desfile espectacular en el mítico Moulin Rouge, y continuó por tres temporadas en la semana del Prêt-à-Porter parisiense con un éxito notable. En esta ocasión, Josep Font volvió a la capital francesa después de la invitación del la Fédéracion Francesa de la alta costura para presentar su colección. Josep Font es el único diseñador español que participa en la semana de la alta costura, siguiendo a los grandes maestros españoles que forman ya una parte en la historia de la moda, como Christobal Balenciaga, Manuel Pertegaz, y Paco Rabanne. Soy de verdad muy contenta para Josep Font. Comencé a colaborar con él hace 5 años cuando miraba para trabajar con diseñadores españoles. En aquel momento no mucha gente apostaba para la moda española. Creí en él y no me equivoque...Hoy soy muy orgullosa en decir que asisti en algunos de los acontecimientos más importantes de su carera, como por ejemplo su primer desfile en París, y la abertura de su tienda Parisien. Soy hoy también muy feliz que estoy escribiendo mi primer artículo y está todo sobre este gran diseñador... que espero que vosotros lo encontreis tan especial como yo.
