Corto Moltedo is redefining notions of luxury in the accessories market with his own signature blend of pop-luxe chic. The brand has become synonymous with sumptuous colours, bold hardware and meticulous attention to detail.

Head Designer, Gabrielecorto Moltedo was raised between the scenic Venetian countryside, Paris and NY. His childhood was spent learning about the family business of making beautifully crafted bags. After finishing graduate school, Gabrielecorto set up a studio in Paris and began to realize his ambition to start his own luxury accessories label.

Following in his parents’ footsteps (founders of Bottega Veneta), Gabrielecorto founded Corto Moltedo in 2004. From two initial collections to a growth of 6 collections a year, including the highly anticipated debut Men’s collection for Spring / Summer 2008 Season. Corto Moltedo is an iconic innovator in today's world. One of fashion's best kept secrets, he now designs from his base in Paris and his own research and development studio in Florence.

CC Skye presents her new collection

CC Skye presented her new Spring-Summer 2011 collection on July 24th in a large estate in Malibu overlooking the Ocean on the evening of a full moon. LA local press, stylists, and celebrity clients were there. The beautiful LA crowd mingled into the late evening. Giveaways included Malibu Barbie make up cans, CC Skye cookies adorned with campaign photos, and gift boxes filled with CC Skye jewlery including the Pave Flash Pendant, CC Skye signature screw bracelets, Pave Flash ring, Nika Cuff, Long Claw Necklace, all retailing over 1000$.

A blue crescent, a polka dot mountain on a warm sandy dessert was the view from my window. But one day I was sent into the forest to find some fire from Babayaga. I passed through an intoxicating rose maze. By the guidance of the rose dove I found the right path.

I arrived in a garden full of glorious sunny memories. The wind whispered 'remember that memories may be rose tinted, the brutal truth is left behind!'. It stirred a deep emotional turmoil... How far did I have to go to get the fire? My heart sank...But I know I was the protected one. My skeleton friend is always with me, the goat queen of the forest is on my side. And I am grateful that I am the best friend of myself.

Divinity beside the junk yard. That is life. I can choose what to see. It is not the fire that will make me happy. Divine roses blossom along the dark path of the forest....

Asi es como Vogue.com hablaba sobre la diseñadora Doii Lee, después de presentar a su nueva colección para el próximo Otoño-Invierno 2010-2011 a Vauxhall Fashion Week en Londres el pasado Febrero.
