Corto Moltedo, about the Craftmanship

Corto Moltedo takes enormous pride in the fact that every handbag is conceived and produced by hand in their Florence Atélier, since it was opened in 2008. Here, each bag is subject to a lengthy and detailed process of construction in the hands of master Italian artisans and the highest standards of quality and traditional craftsmanship. Each Corto bag requires the dedication of three craftsmen with over forty years combined experience, and approximately two days to be made.
.
Due to the extreme care and attention given to each Corto bag, they produce only a limited quantity of pieces and sell the items exclusively through their directly-operated boutiques in order to guarantee the quality and authenticity of each bag.
.
The company is committed to environmental conscientiousness and are doing their part to minimize consumption. Corto handbags are not mass produced and neither are their protective coverings, made from recycled materials and produced uniquely for each bag sold.
