After 4 years of writing about fashion, brands, exhibitions, etc, today's post will be a little bit different...but still fashionable! I will tell you about our meeting with the team of Real Madrid in Cyprus...

Everything was arranged for Monday 26th March, at 20:00 pm, at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia. The Real Madrid team was expecting to meet little Riccardo Byron and little Sofia. The meeting was arranged from Spain. Such a privilege! We left Limassol at 18:15. We did not want to miss this meeting for anything in this world. We were all very excited. At 19:30 we arrived at the Hilton, where we met little Sofia and her parents. We had a quick drink. We then went to find Oscar, press officer of Real Madrid. He was expecting us. Really nice guy. So many people were gathered there, hoping to see the team. We arrived at the meeting place, a long corridor between the lifts and the private dining room. I thought that this is a great corridor for playing football. We were there waiting for a while, just us. People of the Club were passing by...The babies were excited and kept on asking where the players where. Suddenly, the door of the lift opens, and there he was, Iker Casillas, together with Raul Albiol... They came immediately to say hello, so friendly and polite. They pose for the photo, signed the ball, we wished them luck, and left for the dining room.
Then arrived the group Sahin, Altintop, Arbeloa, then Varane, Khedira, Ozil, Higuain, then Coentrao, then Mejias, Adan, Benzema...shortly after Kaka and Granero. They are both wonderful, such a sweet guys. Riccardo kept on telling Kaka he wanted to play football with him. We agreed he would do so next time they meet...then he wanted to go and eat with them. So happy. Sofia was also so impressed by them. As they were dressed in blue, she described them as Genies!
Last arrived the group of Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo, Pepe, and Ramos...so cool. Ronaldo came towards us dancing, or better said, rapping! He asked if we had a pen so he could sign on the ball...we only had one so he had to wait. Marcelo, such a funny guy, signed the ball and also made a little funny face...Riccardo says that is his turtle.

And that was it...all in the dining room, and all of us happy and excited we have met the team of Real Madrid. Such a present for the little ones. One day they will understand how lucky they had been to be able to see all the team, and have a ball with all the signatures...
Our next meeting? Well, in Madrid, Paseo de la Castellana, Bernabeu, training session...Thanks guys for your time, thank you Oscar...and thank you Eugenia! Have a great weekend!
